Mother and I noticed the smoke at about 1 pm today, the 17th. It took about 4 hours before the planes arrived to dose this hazard with fire retardant.

Fire in the Pinal Mountains
Although the pictures make the fire appear little in nature, the fact that we are surrounded by thick, dry brush, any fire is cause for concern...
