In our family, Memorial Day has always been seen as the 'Unofficial' start to summer. It kicked off the days left til graduations, barbeque's, camping with family and friends, lazy days at the park and the relaxing walks along the beach, but....
More importantly, today should be an opportunity to look back at those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, ensuring our freedom and the ability to celebrate such a day.
To all of our fallen service members and their families, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all that you have given me and my family, I thank you for your selfless acts of courage.
