I would like to wish everyone out there in blogger-land a wonderful, fun and safe 4th of July.
Please remember to bring in your pets, especially dogs who usually freak completely out at the onset of the nights festivities.
For our dogs, we have them in a room that has window coverings, several little doggie tents with enough material that they can crawl under and the radio on. Only one of the dogs, the alpha-male Brutus gets extremely anxious / nervous with loud noises such as thunder or fireworks, so for him he gets an anxiety pill provided by his vet, it usually does the trick for him. The other two dogs just look at him as if he's lost his little mind. On occasion though if it is really bad, they tend to get nervous because he is nervous.
In any case, keep it fun, keep it safe!
